Lawn mowing simulator is (obviously) a simulation game developed by Skyhook Games and published by Curve Digital. Here’s more about the game-
‘Experience the beauty and detail of mowing the Great British countryside in Lawn Mowing Simulator, the only simulator that allows you to ride an authentic and expansive roster of real-world licensed lawn mowers from prestigious manufacturers; Toro, SCAG and STIGA as you manage your mowing business.’
Graphically Lawn mowing never looked so good. Obviously being a simulator, attention to detail is incredibly important, every blade of grass is visible clearly to make sure you know what youve cut and what you’ve missed, the Gardens and area’s you cut feel real from the way they look and the ambient sounds you hear. The vehicles you use are detailed, with moving parts and well drawn movement of each individual vehicle. The focus is on the simulation experience and they’ve done a great job of making sure that graphically the game does the job.
The Ancient Britain DLC.
The ancient britain DLC adds four more environments for you to cut your grass and make your money, it also provides a bit of a change from the current crop of jobs on offer. The areas are-
The Royal Stones
Here you will find quite a whimsical place, with two stone circles – their historical significance continues to be debated, but one thing is for certain, they could use a tidy up! Using the tools at your disposal and the new string trimmers, it is your task to go around these ancient ruins and carefully tidy it up.
Hidden in a quiet valley lie these ancient megaliths, forgotten by the modern world. Do your bit in bringing this site back to life!
The Ancient Aurochs
One of Britain’s oldest inns, this charming setting seems to be the perfect place to spend the day mowing.
A fascinating site that is home to a Bronze-Age field painting. Set on a steep slope with an intricate cut pattern around the painting, this may be your toughest task yet
All four locations are very British feeling and the sort of ancient ruins you see around Great Britain. They all pose different challenges and require planning and preparation.
The Ancient Britain DLC adds a well needed challenge to mix things up. Four more locations that add different challenges and new places to ply your mowing skills. It may not be a huge DLC but it’s a good addition.
